Permanent Marker and Ink drawings I did from 1998 through 2002. One time, when I was moving, my friend was helping me out with his truck. I had all of my belongings in the back of his S-10 pick up. Everything was tied down with bungie cords. On the very top of the pile was my portfolio. Driving south on highway 101 right before the San Antonio exit, a gust of wind hit us just right such that my portfolio blew up into the air and exploded. This is pretty much what remains, besides sketchbooks, from the artwork I did while I was studying fine art at Foothill College in California. The subject matter is primarily my experience living in the Bay Area going back and forth between San Francisco and Santa Cruz.
