Nvidia-ARM Deal is Called Off

An acquisition deal that would give rights to the ARM chip architecture exclusively to GPU manufacturer Nvida has collapsed. This is good for competition among the many other firms that could put to use the highly efficient architecture. Arm chips use less electricity and radiate less heat when compared to the same processing load with other architectures such as x86 and AMD.
